The Role

We're looking for a Materials Controller to manage a portfolio of suppliers and ensure every component arrives on time to meet the build plan. You'll keep the supply chain running smoothly : balancing schedules, stock levels, and supplier performance : while contributing to the creation of vehicles that define automotive excellence.

What You'll Do
  • Schedule and control material supply to meet build requirements.
  • Manage supplier relationships and monitor stock levels.
  • Use Microsoft Excel and MRP systems to track, plan, and forecast demand.
  • Identify and resolve shortages to protect the build schedule.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to drive improvements.
  • Support supplier reviews, meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You'll Bring
  • Experience in materials control, supply chain, or logistics (automotive/manufacturing preferred).
  • Confident using Microsoft Excel, MRP systems and analysing data.
  • Strong attention to detail, organisation, and problem:solving skills.
  • Proactive and calm under pressure with great communication skills.
