About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Material Controller to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient flow, accuracy, and availability of materials required for production and operations. You'll play a key part in inventory management, stock control, and coordinating with internal teams and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor, manage, and maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Schedule, track, and control material movements throughout the supply chain.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials to production lines and departments.
  • Conduct regular stock checks, audits, and reconciliations.
  • Update inventory systems and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Work closely with purchasing, warehouse, and production teams.
  • Identify material shortages, delays, or discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in inventory control and logistics.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in material control, inventory management, warehousing, or a similar role.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software.
  • Basic knowledge of supply chain and logistics operations.
Desirable
  • Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or production environments.
  • Forklift license- IS A MUST
