Overview
Master Vehicle Technician - 4-Day Week
Salary: £35,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Working Pattern: 4-day working week (rotating schedule for two 4-day weekends per month)
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out complex diagnostics, advanced repairs, and MOT preparations on a wide range of vehicles to the highest manufacturer standards.
- Conduct in-depth fault finding and provide technical expertise to support other technicians.
- Oversee quality control processes and ensure all work meets exceptional standards.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and dealership procedures.
- Mentor and support junior technicians to develop their skills and knowledge.
- Keep up to date with the latest manufacturer technical training and developments.
Working Hours
Week 1: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Week 2: Tuesday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Off days: Friday to Sunday in Week 1, Saturday to Monday in Week 2
This rotating schedule provides two 4-day weekends per month, promoting a healthy work-life balance.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience as a Master Technician within a dealership or high-level garage environment.
- Fully qualified with relevant Master Technician status, manufacturer accreditations, or equivalent advanced certifications.
- Exceptional diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
