Job description

We are looking to recruit a fully skilled and experienced Master Technician to join a professional and established workshop team within a main dealer environment. This role is suited to a Technician who takes pride in technical ability, diagnostic expertise, and consistently delivering high-quality, right-first-time repairs.

This is a brand-flexible position, and applications are welcomed from Master Technicians with main dealer experience from any manufacturer. Strong technical foundations, adaptability, and a willingness to learn brand-specific systems are valued more than previous brand alignment.

The successful candidate will be time served and qualified to NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent). You will be confident using modern diagnostic equipment and manufacturer systems, with strong fault-finding skills across mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems. The ideal candidate will have EV and hybrid experience and be comfortable diagnosing and repairing high-voltage systems in line with current safety standards.

You will work towards productivity and efficiency targets, carry out advanced diagnostic work, and repair and service vehicles to a consistently high standard. The role may also involve supporting and mentoring other technicians where appropriate, contributing to workshop performance and technical standards.
