We’re working with an established international manufacturer and distributor that’s highly regarded within the industrial and technical sectors for its innovative and sustainable solutions. This is a business with a collaborative culture and a supportive approach to development working from its Northampton base with a hybrid set‑up.

The role – Marketing Manager

This is a standalone role where you’ll take ownership of the UK marketing strategy, shaping and delivering activity across online and offline channels. You’ll need to be both strategic and hands‑on, confident in identifying what’s needed and setting priorities and making decisions to move things forward.

You’ll collaborate with colleagues across sales and technical functions as well as the wider international marketing team to deliver campaigns that raise awareness, generate leads and support product launches.

Key responsibilities – Marketing Manager
  • Develop and deliver an integrated marketing plan aligned to business growth objectives
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and trends
  • Manage the creation of marketing materials and digital content
  • Oversee SEO, PPC, email and social activity ensuring campaigns drive measurable results
  • Coordinate PR, trade press features and technical content such as case studies and white papers
  • Lead on trade show planning and attendance (typically 3–5 per year)
  • Support product launches with engaging content and collateral
  • Measure campaign performance and report on ROI
Your background – Marketing Manager
  • Proven experience in a standalone or small team marketing role
  • Background in B2B or distribution environments, ideally within technical or manufacturing sectors
  • Strong strategic and analytical mindset with the confidence to set direction and make decisions
  • Excellent written communication and content creation skills
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and working collaboratively with other departments
  • Full UK driving licence required due to occasional travel for trade events
