The Role

We are looking for a creative and hands on Marketing Executive to join our dynamic marketing team. Reporting into the head of marketing, you will support us in the execution and activation of marketing campaigns & matchday experience that increase ticket sales, grow our digital presence, enhance fan engagement, and support our commercial partners.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Execution

  • Assist in the planning and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns for key club initiatives, primarily focused on ticket sales for home matches (including season tickets, memberships, and matchday tickets).
  • Support the day‑to‑day execution of campaigns across email, social media, web, and in‑stadium channels.

Content, Digital & Social Media

  • Assist with content planning for the club’s social platforms, official website.
  • Use analytics tools to monitor performance, report on KPIs, and make data‑driven recommendations for optimisation.

Fan Engagement & Matchday support

  • Contribute to ideas and initiatives that improve the overall fan experience, both online and on matchdays.
  • Work closely with the media and design teams to support the creation of compelling marketing assets, including video content, graphics, and copy.
  • Support the operational implementation of home matchdays.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Experience (1-2 years) in a marketing role, ideally within sport, entertainment, or a fast‑paced consumer‑facing environment.
  • University educated with a degree in Marketing/Sports Marketing or Communications being advantageous, or demonstrable work experience as an equivalent.
  • A passion for football and an understanding of the football landscape and fan culture.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone of voice for different audiences.
  • Hands‑on experience with social media management and content creation.
  • A basic understanding of digital marketing principles, including email marketing, SEO, and paid social advertising.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines, especially around the football fixture calendar.
Desirable Skills & Experience
  • Knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva)
  • Experience using web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics).
