Marketing Assistant

An amazing opportunity for a candidate with entry level Marketing experience looking to develop their skills and career further!

£26,200 starting salary with annual reviews and generous bonus scheme
Location - West Malling
Monday to Friday #removed# office based, after probation, 1 day a week WFH

My client is a leading specialist within the financial industry looking for a creative and passionate Marketing Assistant to join their supportive team.

The ideal candidate will have a marketing qualification/experience within a marketing role or relevant internship/work placement and experience using Microsoft and Adobe systems.

You will be an effective communicator and a positive, enthusiastic team player ambitious for personal development and learning.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the marketing team in executing the marketing strategy
  • Support with event preparation both internal and external
  • Organise all external gifting from initial ideas through to delivery
  • Responsible for marketing the literature library and maintenance of literature
  • Create document artwork (product guides, leaflets, business cards, website documents)
  • Research sourcing and ordering branded merchandise
  • Update event ROI tracker with event data/costs
  • Work alongside external PR agency and outsourced exhibition company
  • Help the creation of documents and content, central contact for literature & branded goods for the sales team
  • Produce artwork and distribute to in a timely manner
  • Ensure all marketing documents meet/gain approval before being sent out
Skills and experience
  • Experience within a marketing role or relevant internship/work placement
  • Strong IT skills across marketing creative packages particularly Adobe Suites
  • Proficient with Microsoft (outlook, excel, word)
  • Good copywriting skills able to adapt to the company's tone of voice
  • Work well under pressure, independently and as part of a team
  • Creative flair and ideally experience in creating branded documents/imagery
