A regional transport authority in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Marketing Assistant. We’re looking for a new member to join our team, where you'll be delivering creative, outcome-focused communications across the region.
Our dynamic and fast-paced Marketing Team is instrumental in raising awareness of the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) and Transport for West Midlands (TfWM), ensuring that the region understands our mission and services. We are seeking an experienced Marketing Assistant to not only manage their own campaigns but to support the wider communications team to deliver the overarching communications strategy, that supports the priorities of the Mayor of the West Midlands.
Our Directorates will rely on you to communicate their vision in an engaging way, to a range of audiences including residents, businesses, and partners. You will be managing campaigns across the WMCA and TfWM, that will make a real difference to the residents of the West Midlands. It will be your responsibility to build strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand their objectives, design, manage and support campaigns effectively, and identify innovative ways of captivating audiences.
We're in search of someone with 360 experience and a genuine passion for marketing, who’s proactive, detail oriented, with a commitment to making a real difference in the West Midlands.
The location for this role is 16 Summer Lane with at least 2 days a week spent in the office, Wednesday's and Thursday's.
