Job Overview

The position supports our property agency and housing renovation projects by providing insights into UK property markets, analysing trends, buyer behaviour, and renovation potential. They prepare reports, forecast opportunities, and guide property sourcing, pricing, marketing, and refurbishment. Collaborating with sales and renovation teams, they ensure data‑driven decisions that maximise value for local and international clients.

Key responsibilities

• Conducts detailed research on the UK property markets, analysing pricing trends, rental demand, investment hotspots and renovation value uplift;
• Gathers and evaluates data from property listings, planning records, local council reports, and development forecasts to support sales and refurbishment strategies;
• Identifies customer preferences, buyer behaviours and renovation style trends to guide marketing direction and property recommendations;
• Prepares research reports, comparative market analysis, and investment summaries for internal teams and client presentations;
• Suggests improvements on marketing, pricing, interior design and renovation scope based on research‑driven insights;
• Oversees data collection for both qualitative and quantitative property studies and manages research projects from planning through to final delivery.

Abilities/Skills/Knowledge

• Able to analyse large sets of market and property data and extract meaningful insights;
• Capable of forecasting market trends and estimating property value growth post‑renovation;
• Strong ability to translate research into practical recommendations for sales, marketing and refurbishment decisions;
• Excellent analytical skills to conduct area research, land use surveys, and market assessments to inform development strategies;
• Strong communication and presentation skills for preparing and delivering reports, proposals, and visual plans to clients and regulatory bodies;
• High level of attention to detail, problem‑solving abilities, and capability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team;
• Mandarin language skills would be an advantage to support communication with Mandarin‑speaking clients and suppliers.
