• BEng in a Mechanical Engineering discipline or equivalent technical capability.
• Engineering experience relevant to designing naval deck machinery.
• Experience in a highly regulated industry is preferred.
• Excellent understanding of marine or offshore oil and gas industry.
• Competent user of 2D and 3D CAD systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop Mechanical Engineering solutions from requirements capture to in-service support.
• Identify and develop R&D and Continuous Improvement opportunities.
• Investigate Safety and Technical problems using structured methodologies.
• Create technical design appraisal documents for classification societies.
