Job Description

As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be part of the day-to-day workflow in a manufacturing laboratory, contributing to both production and quality operations. The role involves working with packaging and labelling equipment, handling documentation linked to production batches, and performing product checks throughout the manufacturing cycle. You will also collaborate with quality teams, maintain equipment, and support the smooth movement of goods within the production area.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble and package laboratory consumables according to established procedures.
  • Operate machinery used for labelling, sealing, and packaging.
  • Prepare and print labels while processing corresponding work orders.
  • Complete and verify batch-related documentation.
  • Monitor and record equipment downtime.
  • Assist Quality Control teams with routine duties when required.
  • Maintain production tools, equipment, and workstations.
  • Contribute to general workflow support across the production area.
Requirements
  • GCSE level education or equivalent, plus at least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment.
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and work efficiently in a structured setting.
  • Basic computer skills and good communication skills.
  • Physically able to handle materials and occasionally lift up to 20 kg; willingness to wear PPE and follow safety standards.
