Overview

Are you a Manufacturing Engineer? Do you have experience in the Automotive sector? If so our client is looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting role to join a long term project from conception through to completion. It will suit an autonomous candidate looking for a challenge that can use their knowledge to make improvement and increase performance / output.

Working hours: Monday-Thursday 8am-4:45pm; Friday 8am-12:30pm

Key Responsibilities
  • Strong project management skills (NPI), able to handle multiple short-term tasks and deliver within constraints using recognised methods and systems
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate across teams without direct reporting lines, driving product and process changes effectively
  • Experience in customer and vendor communication to resolve product and material non-conformance issues
  • Provides technical design and integration support across all phases of product introduction, including assembly concepts and methods engineering
  • In-depth knowledge of plastics (materials, processing, characteristics, behaviour) with hands-on experience in tooling projects
Essential Experience
  • Well versed Manufacturing Engineer with experience working in the automotive sector
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of PFMEA and/or AIAG & VDA
  • Knowledge built working in a Launch / NPI environment
  • Injection Mould process experience is advantageous
