A leading manufacturing company in Glasgow is offering an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer. The successful candidate will support product development, manage corrective actions, and implement continuous improvements. Strong analytical, CAD, and communication skills are essential. A degree in Industrial, Production, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering is required, along with hands-on experience in manufacturing environments. You will have a broad range of duties and responsibilities, supporting product development and manufacture and supporting all internal and external stakeholder groups in relation to initiatives across production, continuous improvement and project execution. You will be an experienced Manufacturing / Industrial Engineer who thrives in dynamic manufacturing environments and is passionate about driving operational excellence particularly within a medium to heavy engineering, manufacturing environment.
Ideally degree qualified within Industrial, Production, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering, you will be a hands‑on Manufacturing Engineer with proven experience in managing all elements of Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering. You will possess strong analytical and problem‑solving skills and be able to demonstrate excellent communication, leadership and team collaboration abilities. Well skilled in mechanical assembly and proficient in CAD, ideally with Creo/3D CAD expertise you will have an in‑depth working knowledge of NPI processes with PFMEA experience. Previous project management experience would be a distinct advantage.
