• Matching Components to Production Planning customer specifications.
• Reading and Interpreting Engineering Drawings.
• Use of Inspection Equipment.
• Operating universal Grinding Machines, Ring Grinders, Surface Grinding.

EMBS Engineering Ltd is working in partnership with a leading precision engineering manufacturer, located in Hinckley, that is currently in the market for a Manual Grinder to join their company permanently.

They boast a rich history of supporting globally recognised customers with safety-critical, highly complex components.

Responsibilities:

• Matching Components to Production Planning customer specifications
• Reading and Interpreting Engineering Drawings
• Use of Inspection Equipment
• Operating universal Grinding Machines / Ring Grinders / Surface Grinding

Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate:

• Strong Grinding experience
• Previously worked within a precision engineering / advanced manufacturing environment such as; Aerospace, Automotive, Motorsport, Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Defence, Petrochemical, Power etc.
• Ability to set and operate CNC Grinding machines
• Ideally, experience using Universal Grinding machine, however, we will consider those with Surface and Cylindrical Grinding experienceAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Ability to use inspection equipment and inspect own work
• Ability to work on own initiative
