Job Summary
  • Assist with the preparation of the system-wide annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes for all operating business units, including revenue, expense, and capital planning.
  • Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts, providing insights into financial performance and highlighting key areas of improvement.
  • Work closely with CFO and Administrative Director of Finance to develop and maintain analytical tools that support senior leadership in setting goals and measuring company performance.
  • Assist in preparing comprehensive financial presentations for senior management, joint venture partners, and board meetings.
  • Collaborate with business planning teams to support strategic planning, special projects, and ad-hoc reporting.
  • Participate in financial modeling for new business initiatives and pro-forma financial analysis.
  • Perform ROI analysis to guide strategic decision-making across various departments.
  • Oversee staff responsible for managing provider compensation and incentive agreements
  • Support the maintenance and updates to finance data within the EPM (Axiom) and Business Intelligence solutions (Tableau).
  • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented environment by partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver financial insights and recommendations.
  • Perform statistical, cost, and financial variance analysis of data to evaluate financial performance and identify improvement opportunities across various levels of business.
  • Assist in the development of presentations, including key observations of statistical, financial, and qualitative information.
  • Assist in the preparation of Proforma statements where needed as related to capital and other matters related to facilities, as requested and above scope for System Services review.
  • Attend meetings as a representative of Finance, as requested by operational management, and as a representative for the department leader, if necessary.
  • Keep abreast of healthcare trends and market development as context for analyses
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelors in a related field (Finance, Accounting, Economics)
  • 8+ years of progressive finance and/or accounting management experience
  • 5+ years of healthcare experience
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making abilities
