About Marketing Partnerships

At Netflix, Marketing Partnerships maximizes the impact of brand engagements, driving business results through creative excellence.

The team consists of four distinct business units focused on distinct outcomes:

  • Partner Marketing: grow our subscriber base
  • Brand Partnerships: promote our titles to members
  • Ads B2B Marketing: drive preference with advertisers

All of these objectives are supported by the Marketing Partnerships Creative team that collaborates with external brands and agency/production partners as well as internal cross‑functional teams to create compelling campaigns, activations, sponsorships, and other innovative solutions.

The Marketing Partnerships Creative team consists of three disciplines: Brand Strategy, Creative, and Creative Production. This team is tasked with ensuring partnership programs are rooted in a compelling strategy, crafted at the highest quality, and executed flawlessly.

About The Role

After launching Netflix with Ads in late 2022, we have continued to innovate our offering to better serve advertisers while continuing to provide a best‑in‑class experience to ad‑tier subscribers. Our goal is to help advertisers connect with our IP, fandoms, and the Netflix brand in innovative and impactful ways.

We are looking for a Creative Producer with deep experience and knowledge in the UK live events/sports, integrated marketing, and sponsorships ecosystem. The role involves managing an integrated marketing campaign within a live event broadcast—from the early stages of planning all the way through to day‑of physical production.

The ideal candidate has experience managing and executing advertiser/sponsorship commitments within live sports broadcast environments, the ability to adapt to a variety of formats, a passion for the sports industry, a deep understanding of the live events sponsorship ecosystem, broadcast, and thrives in fast‑paced, matrixed environments.

Responsibilities
Integrated Marketing & Planning
  • Partner with creative to develop compelling sponsorship concepts and check feasibility with production partners, ensuring that ideas can be executed on time, on‑budget, and in line with legal/player/talent parameters.
  • Partner closely with Netflix cross‑functional teams—such as Content, Ad Sales, Title Marketing and Publicity—to develop and plan sponsorship opportunities and ensure they align with the overall vision for the live Netflix production.
  • Spearhead conversations with a diverse range of external stakeholders, including third‑party production teams, sports leagues, and brand partners.
Campaign Production / Implementation
  • Orchestrate cross‑functional teams and production companies to flawlessly execute all sponsorship commitments, including everything from on‑the‑ground filming to remote shoots and agency management.
  • Ensure all necessary assets are reviewed, approved and delivered on time to the required internal and external partners.
  • Own and manage budgets, including reviewing and negotiating production/talent estimates and bids.
  • Anticipate bottlenecks and propose solutions in advance, making key decisions to continue delivering without compromising the overall creative vision or sponsorship goals.
  • Leverage a deep network of contractors and agencies with expertise in this space to scale up or down depending on volume of events.
What Are We Looking For
  • At least 7 years of experience in marketing production in the live events/broadcast and sponsorship space.
  • Previous experience in live sports content in the UK is highly preferred.
  • Operational management within a live broadcast environment, including on‑the‑ground activations (on‑site and on‑broadcast), is mandatory.
  • Prior ad sales/client relationship management experience is mandatory.
  • Deep understanding of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in the live space.
  • Strong relationship‑building and efficient communication across multiple cross‑functional partners—internal, external, and production partners.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understand, advocate, and embody the company’s values and team goals.
  • Ability to originate a new role and workstream within an existing team, and help shape the future function of this role.
