Job summary

A leading market infrastructure provider in the UK is looking for an experienced Management Accountant on a 12-month fixed term contract. The successful candidate will assist with the production of financial reports, manage lease accounting under IFRS16, and improve month-end processes. Candidates should be part or qualified accountants with strong Excel skills and attention to detail. This role requires excellent communication abilities and a proactive approach to financial management.

Qualifications

• Experience in business partnering with a Technology function.
• Basic knowledge of accrual and prepayment accounting requirements.
• Ability to analyse problems and propose remedies.
• Experience working in a similar role is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with production of monthly financial reports.
• Reconcile Lease accounting for EMEA region under IFRS16.
• Review month-end processes for opportunities to improve.
• Maintain accounting for Work in Progress and Project expenditure.
