Job description

Our Finance team are looking for a skilled Management Accountant to join their high performing team you will report into our Finance Manager.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Working closely with Finance Managers and Operational teams on specific projects
  • Developing strong relationships across the business and with external stakeholders
  • Management of Financial P/ L including variance analysis monthly and year end reporting. While being able to consolidate the information into concise reports
  • Compiling annual plans and presenting on these to Senior Management
  • Preparation of monthly Balance sheets
  • Identifying cost savings and efficiencies
  • Support with reconciliation and review of supplier payment
  • Review and redesign existing processes to facilitate decision making
  • Positive can-do attitude is crucial for this role

Qualifications

As the successful candidate you will be educated to degree level or equivalent and hold an ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent qualification. We would also expect;

  • A willingness to challenge all reporting and operational practices
  • Be able to Business Partner at all levels within the International
  • Be able to self-manage their workload and prioritise tasks according to deadlines importance and urgency.
  • Have a problem solving attitude with the drive to delivering results
  • Have strong analytical skills and be able to present results in a simple and clear manner
  • Be proactive in looking for continuous improvement in your area of responsibility and beyond
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft and Google Reporting Suite applications
  • Have a keen eye for detail and produce work to an excellent presentation standard
