A leading travel organization in Greater London is seeking a Management Accountant to strengthen financial controls and drive performance reporting. You will produce trial balances and conduct financial analyses, with a focus on enhancing efficiency. Flight Centre is a fast‑paced, growth‑focused, high‑performing organisation. Supply is the commercial heart of our business. This role will be a dedicated resource to the Supply Business and its purpose is to help drive the value of the Supply Business across the UK and Europe.
The core responsibilities for the Management Accountant include Trial Balance Production, protecting the business through strong Financial Controls and driving performance through Regular Reporting and the Reforecasting process. Business partnering is a key element to this role.
To be successful in this role you will need to possess a solid understanding of accounting principles. The primary foci are month‑end close (including posting journals), reporting financial controls and forecasting. Outside of month‑end you will be delivering ad‑hoc commercial analysis and reporting to help maximise the Supply addition. You will have a passion for process improvement resulting in processes being overhauled, eliminated where possible, and streamlined or automated where appropriate.
