Management Accountant

Mivan is a dynamic and progressive interior fit‑out and specialist joinery contractor with an international track record and a reputation for delivering a world class fit‑out service across a range of sectors including luxury hotels, prime residential, museums, stadiums, arenas, commercial, marine and modular solutions.

An opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Management Accountant to join our Finance team based in Antrim.

Reporting to our Finance Director, the successful candidate will provide accurate and timely accounting information for the Company and produce monthly Management Accounts. Main duties will include:

  • Collation and summation of monthly CVRs to produce turnover and contribution reports.
  • Management of WIP, ensuring eventual invoicing
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting of turnover and contribution.
  • Maintenance of stock control accounts.
  • Review debtor and creditor balances
  • Assisting in the preparation of year‑end audit schedules.
  • Preparation and filing of VAT returns.
  • Review of purchase ledger, ensuring pro‑forma invoices and payments on account are followed.
  • Process transfers on e‑banking system.
  • Monitoring and evaluating financial information systems and suggesting improvements where needed
  • Implementing corporate governance procedures, risk management and internal controls
  • Undertake any other duties within your sphere of knowledge, experience or competency as requested.

The successful candidate will have a recognised qualification (ACCA, ACA or CIMA) or be qualified by experience (5+ years). Candidates should have extensive experience, including cost analysis techniques, and strong IT skills with proficiency in accounting software; ERP implementation experience is desirable. They should be proactive, detail‑oriented, and possess excellent communication skills with the ability to meet tight reporting deadlines.
