Management Accountant – Liskeard– Salary negotiable DOE

Trial Balance Consulting are delighted to have been re-engaged by a specialist services business based in Liskeard, to source a new Management Accountant to join their team. This is a pivotal role within the organisation that will require you to take ownership of financial operations, whilst playing a key role in supporting business growth. This is a full time, permanent post that will operate out of the company offices based in Liskeard.

Key responsibilities will include:

-Preparing management and statutory accounts, journals and reconciliations

-Reviewing payroll processing for authorisation

-Managing cashflow, budgets and forecasts

-Liaising with auditors and regulatory bodies

-Supporting process improvements and system enhancements

This role requires a candidate who is at least AAT qualified, ideally part qualified ACCA/CIMA, with strong technical accounting knowledge and excellent attention to detail. You’ll have solid financial systems and Excel skills, strong analytical ability and clear communication skills that allow you to work effectively across teams.
