Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months PQE required.
• Proven experience in full management accounts preparation.
• Ability to perform KPI and performance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Conduct business planning and liaise with store managers.
• Produce full management accounts, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Perform cost control and inventory analysis.

Skills

Strong all round accounting skills

Excellent communication skills

Strong Excel skills including Vlookups and pivots

Education

CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified

Job description

Highly successful nationwide retail group have created an opportunity for a Management Accountant to join the Head Office Team in South East London. Reporting to the Finance Director this role will be to provide financial analysis and strategic guidance to the group, ensuring accurate reporting to each store and support commercial decision making to maximise profitability and control costs. Duties include:-

Responsibility of the Management Accountant Role:-

• Heavily involved in business planning and liaising with the store managers to offer support and insight
• Production of full management accounts, budgeting and forecasting
• KPI and performance analysis for each store
• Cost control and inventory analysis
• Management reporting
• Process improvement
• Support the audit process
  
  

Requirements of the Management Accountant Role:-

• CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified with a minimum of 12 months PQE
• Strong all round accounting skills
• First rate systems skills including Excel, Vlookups and pivots
• Excellent communication skills
