CJP Outreach Service is looking for caring, motivated, and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Support Workers. In this rewarding role, you’ll help adults with learning disabilities, autism, and behaviours that challenge to live fulfilling lives, achieve their goals, and build essential life skills.

About the Role

We’re looking for people with experience in supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and behaviours that challenge, ideally within community-based settings such as supported living or residential care.

Knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) is a real advantage.

As a Support Worker, you’ll provide person-centred care tailored to each individual’s needs, promoting independence, building life skills, and encouraging positive outcomes—all while fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver person-centred support, focusing on individual strengths and goals.
  • Work alongside the people we support to develop and follow personalised support plans.
  • Help with everyday skills such as cooking, personal care, budgeting, and household tasks.
  • Support health and wellbeing, including medication, medical appointments, and healthy lifestyle choices.
  • Encourage social inclusion by supporting access to community activities and building meaningful relationships.
  • Use PBS strategies to reduce behaviours that challenge and promote positive change.
  • Keep accurate records of progress, outcomes, and daily activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, families, and professionals to ensure consistent, holistic support.
Working Hours
  • Services operate 24 / 7 with 1 : 1 and 2 : 1 support.
  • Rotational 12-hour and 15-hour shifts, including sleep-ins.
  • Every other weekend working required.
What We Offer
  • Employee Wellbeing Scheme – free counselling, helplines, and online support.
  • Exclusive Discounts – savings on shopping, fuel, and everyday items.
  • L.O.V.E. Rewards – recognition for living our values every day.
  • Random Acts of Kindness – surprise gifts throughout the year.
  • In The Loop App – stay connected and share experiences with our community.
  • Training & Career Development – full training and opportunities for progression.
  • Paid DBS – fully covered by us.
  • Refer a Friend Bonus – earn up to £500 for successful referrals.
  • Company Pension Scheme.

If you’re passionate about empowering people, making a positive difference, and being part of a friendly, supportive team—we’d love to hear from you.

This role is open to male applicants only, in accordance with Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.

This is due to the personal care needs and preferences of the individual(s) being supported, where providing male-only care is considered a genuine occupational requirement.
