A leading care provider in the UK is seeking a Support Worker to join their team in Braintree. The role requires a caring individual to support young adults with complex needs in achieving their goals. Service: Nexus Support Limited - Braintree
Salary: £12.65 per hour / £23,023 per annum (Based on 35 hours)
Working Hours: 30 hours per week
PLEASE NOTE - A FULL UK DRIVER'S LICENCE IS NEEDED to meet the requirements of this role.
We are a specialist provider working alongside people with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Complex Needs aged between 16 and 45, and their families in the South Essex area. Covering Basildon, Castle Point, Chelmsford, Southend.
Days are spent supporting people to live a meaningful life. We provide opportunities to grow, develop new skills and to explore and enjoy new and established interests and experiences. This may include activities such as swimming, exercising, Health & Beauty and any preferred activities that individuals may wish to participate in within community settings and within their own homes. When not out and about staff are on hand for chats and advice to help when times become challenging.
You will need to be available to work for a minimum of two shifts per week supporting the person at home and within the community. Shift patterns include early, late, sleep‑in and alternate weekends.
We support young adults with complex needs. We are looking for a respectful and caring individual who can passionately support our young adults to fulfil their potential. This is a sometimes challenging role but one with huge rewards.
