Position Summary

We are seeking an outgoing and dedicated individual to join our team as a Mako Field Service Technician. This role you will be responsible for providing on-site technical support, performing installations, repairs, maintenance and testing of Mako robotic systems. You will also manage tasks effectively to ensure all work is completed on schedule.

To succeed in this role you should possess strong analytical and time management skills. A first–class Mako Field Service Technician demonstrates leadership, excellent service orientation and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision to deliver high‑quality outcomes.

What you will do:
  • Provide on-site technical support and customer service.
  • Install, repair, maintain and test Mako robotic systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues in the field.
  • Identify technical problems and perform root cause analysis.
  • Understand customer needs and provide appropriate recommendations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent high‑quality support.
  • Manage work progress and ensure adherence to schedules.
  • Document service activities and complete detailed service reports.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
  • Use your technical expertise and problem‑solving skills to manage multiple projects, make sound decisions independently and deliver effective solutions in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Engage confidently with customers and colleagues, building strong relationships through clear communication and a collaborative approach.
What you will need:
  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Familiarity with robotics or complex capital equipment preferred.
