Maintenance Technician - Broughton

Salary: £37,928 per annum + 42% shift allowance

Shifts: 4 on, 6 off (includes days, nights, and weekends), 12-hour shifts

What You\'ll Do

As a Maintenance Technician, you\'ll be part of a dedicated team responsible for maintaining a wide range of assets, including mechanical and electrical CNC machinery, production equipment, paint shops, and chemical processing plants. You\'ll work on a shift pattern and report to the Maintenance Process Manager.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Carrying out both preventative and corrective maintenance tasks to ensure our equipment operates at its best.
  • Identifying and controlling hazards, always putting safety first in everything you do.
  • Understanding and following Safe Systems of Work and Risk Assessments, including dynamic risk assessments.
  • Recording your work in our Computerised Maintenance Management System.
  • Building strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
  • Continuously looking for ways to improve our maintenance processes and eliminate future breakdowns.
What We\'re Looking For

We\'re seeking candidates who are:

  • Time-served Maintenance Technicians or Fitters, or have equivalent experience.
  • Qualified to HNC level in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Experienced in maintaining mechanical, electrical, or automated equipment.
  • Skilled in fault finding and problem diagnosis.
  • Able to read and follow maintenance procedures and schematic drawings.
  • Confident working with controls for hazardous environments (such as working at heights, with chemicals, electricity, stored energy, or in confined spaces).
