Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mobile Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in maintenance, with expertise in electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems. This role is vital for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment, contributing to overall productivity and safety. This role will be looking after clients based in the Midlands.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and schematics.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs conducted.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement in maintenance processes.
  • Provide exceptional customer service as customer facing, addressing maintenance-related inquiries from staff and management.
  • Supervise junior maintenance staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills to foster a positive working environment.
  • Work Monday to Friday with a rota for on-call weekends (1 in every 4 weeks).
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in maintenance roles, with a strong understanding of mechanical knowledge and electrical experience.
  • Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and the ability to read schematics is essential.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Previous supervising experience is an advantage, demonstrating leadership capabilities within a team setting.
