Shifts: 2days, 2nights, 4 off - 12 hours shifts

Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure continuous production and equipment reliability.
  • Support and mentor maintenance technicians, fostering a proactive maintenance culture.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of food production machinery, ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to resolve complex equipment issues swiftly and effectively.
  • Plan and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
  • Support installation and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring smooth integration.
  • Ensure all activities adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Collaborate with production teams to optimize operational efficiency and equipment performance.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in engineering maintenance within a food manufacturing or similar fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience supervising or mentoring maintenance teams.
  • NVQ Level 3 / ONC / HNC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Solid understanding of root cause analysis and fault-finding on production equipment.
  • Apprentice trained or equivalent with demonstrable hands-on experience.
