This Position reports to: Maintenance Specialist - Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the processes in maintaining and preserving the efficiency of all equipment, production lines, and/or facilities, resulting in the optimization of technical and financial resources. Each day, you will oversee execution of ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of equipment, production lines, and/or facilities.

Candidate will be working Monday to Thursday (8am-4:45pm) and Friday (6am-12:30pm). This will be standard shift pattern however successful candidate will be open to shift rotation when required by the business. The work model for the role is onsite at our Coleshill location.

Responsibilities
  • Solving major technical, equipment, or facilities problems to achieve higher performance of the production lines.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults including motors, sensors, control panels, etc.
  • Support mechanical maintenance activities (e.g., bearings, conveyors, pneumatics).
  • Manage and update technical documentation of equipment, production lines, and/or facilities.
  • Maintain tools and repair equipment in good working condition.
  • Propose improvement projects for processes and production lines aimed at reducing ordinary and extraordinary maintenance and optimizing operational and energy efficiency.
  • Respond to emergencies, breakdowns, malfunctions, and other operating problems to minimize disruption in the production process.
Qualifications
  • Time served/Qualification in Electrical Engineering.
  • Proven experience in mechanical fitting, assembly or maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with tool setting and machine tool setup. Familiarity with common workshop machines (lathes, mills, drills, grinders) and cutting tools is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of maintenance activities with the use of CMMS systems. Also experience in data analysis through such systems to focus activities for greater results.
  • Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings to support manufacturing and machine improvements.
  • Successful candidate will display good communication skills at all levels within the business.
