Position: Maintenance Shift Electrician
Type: Temporary (Temp to Perm)
Location: Belfast, NI
Pay: £22.00/hr Continental shift pattern (4 on – 4 off)
Excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Electrician to join a successful maintenance team to work on a secure tech facility in the Belfast area. The role is an ongoing temporary position (possibility of temp to perm) Shift pattern 4 days on, 4 off, 4 nights on, 4 off

Maintenance Electrician Description
Within the maintenance electrician role you will be carrying out all planned preventative and reactive maintenance tasks across the site. The role will require a flexible approach as you will often be called to carryout or support works that are outside your core discipline.

Duties & Responsibilities

• To undertake planned and reactive electrical maintenance tasks on Electrical plant, controls, lighting etc. plus over lap with critical plant
• To complete PPM’s in line with SLA and KPI agreements
• To complete H&S and compliance checks
• To undertake small works and repairs
• To update the CAFM system and log job status etc.
• To respond to Helpdesk requests, providing a professional and timely service
• To support the other members of the maintenance team with ad-hoc tasks across all disciplines

Skills & Background Required

• Recognised professional qualification e.g. Electrical L3 with 18th edition
• Maintenance background in commercial sized buildings
• Must be presentable and reliable
• Be capable of passing a security check
• Willing to complete work across other areas of maintenance
• Able to build good relationships at all levels, internally and externally
• Strong planning and workload management skills with the ability to manage short term and long term activities to agreed deadlines
