Overview

Avon Gorge by Hotel Du Vin, Bristol is a property with 78 bedrooms, a 91-seater restaurant overlooking the terrace and bridge, a spacious pub and terrace, and 3 private event spaces seating up to 144. It offers panoramic views of the Suspension Bridge and Gorge and is located in Clifton Village, Bristol. The role: Maintenance Manager, Hotel Du Vin. Salary: £40,000 per year. Hours: 45 hours. Location: Avon Gorge by Hotel Du Vin, Bristol. Permanent contract.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the general maintenance of the property and upkeep of its facilities.
• Manage the maintenance team and allocate responsibilities, complete the daily jobs list, and run preventative maintenance schedules with attention to detail.
• Meet time deadlines, liaise with contractors, and be responsible for health and safety on the property.
• Be organized, an excellent communicator, and a hands-on manager with strong attention to detail.
• Experience in a maintenance department of a similar quality hotel is required; knowledge of electrics and health and safety is beneficial.
• Computer literacy is key for compliance and audit tasks.
