Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both electrical and mechanical systems, with the ability to read and interpret schematics.

This role involves maintaining and repairing equipment, ensuring optimal performance. Working for one of the UK's leading providers of temperature control logistics within their Engineering Workshop.

Monday-friday day shifts, with light on-call rota.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair electrical and mechanical systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting and repair purposes.
  • Perform welding tasks as required for equipment repairs.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential problems before they escalate.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance needs promptly.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in maintenance engineering or a similar role.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
