Overview

Straight-Line Civils are currently hiring a Maintenance Supervisor on site just outside of Stourport-On-Severn, Worcestershire.

This candidate will be reporting to the Maintenance Engineering Manager and overseeing the work of the Maintenance Team on the night shift (10 pm - 6:30 am, Sunday to Thursday).

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the maintenance and repair of all production machinery, equipment, etc
• Managing a small team of maintenance technicians
• Ensuring that all work is completely safe, efficient, and compliant
• Minimise downtime, improve reliability, and support business production goals
• Providing on-the-job training and identifying deficiencies in existing skills
• Resolve issues with minimal disruption to production or operations

Desirable Skills and Qualifications

• Technical certification or degree qualification in industrial maintenance
• At least 5 years of experience in maintenance with an extra 2 years in a supervisory or leadership position
• Technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
• Ability to work night shifts and be available for emergency repairs during off-hours

Pay and Contract

Pay - up to £19.62 per hour with £1.50 per hour shift allowance

This is a permanent contract with a long standing local company.
