Maintenance Engineer - Manufacturing

Shift: Monday - Friday, Double Days (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm)

Overview: This is a great opportunity for a maintenance engineer looking to work a Monday - Friday shift and keep their weekends free. Well-known manufacturers are looking to recruit a maintenance engineer and are ready to hire immediately. You will join an experienced and supportive team with a strong track record.

Responsibilities:

1. Proactive maintenance and site PMs
2. Reactive maintenance and quick response to breakdowns
3. Working on electrical and mechanical faults and maintenance
4. Engaging in engineering projects (e.g., commissioning, installations, relocations)
5. Identifying and implementing process and machine output improvements
6. Adhering to site health & safety rules and legislation

Requirements:

1. Time-served / recognized apprenticeship (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering subject
2. Experience working in a multi-skilled role across mechanical and electrical engineering
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, confidently handling electrical and mechanical issues
