Overview

Maintenance Engineer – Tutbury, Derbyshire

Salary: £44,000

Shift: 4 on 4 off Days (5:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Role and Environment

We are looking for a multi-skilled maintenance engineer to join our team of 8 engineers at our site in Derby. As a business we had in excess of £1.5bn turnover in 2024 with continued growth plans across the UK and Europe to come.

This role has come about due to an internal promotion into a maintenance team leader position, something we aim to do with all of our senior positions.

We are a household name in the food industry. Day to day you'll be working on conveyors, slicers, multivacs, tunnels, hydraulics, pneumatics, and 3/Single Phase Motors amongst other industrial machinery.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair industrial equipment including conveyors, slicers, multivacs, tunnels, hydraulics, pneumatics, and motors
  • Assist with project work and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with a team of engineers on planned maintenance and breakdown repair
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years experience working as an industrial maintenance engineer
  • Recognised L3 Maintenance related qualification (NVQ / City & Guilds / HNC etc)
  • Open to engineers from all industrial backgrounds; applicants from a forces background are encouraged to apply
  • Willingness to engage with internal promotions and leadership opportunities
