JOB - Maintenance Engineer

LOCATION - Slough

TERM - Permanent

SHIFT PATTERN - 4 on 4 off days (7am-7pm) or nights (7pm-7am)

SALARY - £35,000 - £55,000, dependent on experience

My client is a manufacturer of specialist machinery. They are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Slough on a permanent basis.

Ideal Attributes
  • Strong hands‑on Engineering skills - fault‑finding, dealing with machinery failures, maintenance, breakdown, repair
  • Time Served Apprenticeship / NVQ / HNC / HND / BTEC / Degree qualified or similar in an Engineering discipline
  • Come from a Mechanical or Electrical background
  • Able to work safely and methodically
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team
  • A flexible and proactive attitude towards work
Role Responsibilities
  • Working in a team to improve and maintain machinery
  • Being proactive in ensuring the smooth running of all equipment
  • PPM and breakdown avoidance
  • Ensuring documentation is maintained and Health & Safety standards are met
  • Ensuring efficiency and a high standard of work is met throughout the site
  • Working with others and being an excellent team player
