Job description

A well-established company in the Pickering area is looking for a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will work a Monday to Thursday day shift.

The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for:

1. Performing statutory and preventative maintenance on plant and equipment.
2. Responding to plant breakdowns and diagnosing faults on plant and equipment.
3. Carrying out plant repairs and rebuilds as required.
4. Manufacturing replacement parts as needed—lathe and milling experience preferred.
5. Assisting in plant and equipment installation in line with design specifications.
6. Using portable plant and power tools correctly.
7. Maintaining excellent time-management and organizational skills.
8. Following company safety systems and work protocols.
