Overview

Mobile M&E Maintenance Engineer
Are you a driven and experienced Engineer ready to take on a fresh challenge? We''re launching a brand new mobile contract across West Sussex, and we''re looking for qualified Maintenance Engineers who thrive on variety, autonomy, and making a real impact. This is your chance to be part of something exciting from day one where your skills, leadership, and attention to detail will help us deliver top-tier service across multiple client sites. The main purpose of the role is to provide outstanding experience maintaining and repairing the building services delivered to our distinguished clients, carry out PPM and reactive tasks on site and assist with any reasonable requests from the client and site manager, assist with log book keeping and compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out PPMs (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive maintenance
  • Conduct routine checks such as emergency light testing and tap temperature checks
  • Complete general building maintenance tasks (mechanical and/or electrical)
  • Identify faults, carry out repairs, and ensure works are completed to a high standard
  • Respond promptly to emergencies or urgent issues
  • Liaise directly with clients to ensure satisfaction and clear communication
  • Maintain accurate records of all work undertaken
Working Pattern
  • Monday - Friday + Overtime Opportunities
  • 40hrs per week, 7:00am-16:00pm split 8:00am - 17:00pm depending on client demands
Qualifications and Experience
  • Qualified to City & Guilds Level 3/2 Electrical/Mechanical, equivalent or higher in Electrical/Mechanical discipline - Essential
  • Experience of Facilities maintenance, testing & fault finding on a variety of equipment including boiler plant, ventilation, pumps, generators, switchgear, cables, Batteries, small power and lighting (where applicable)
  • Knowledge of and experience in BMS/ Generator/Controls/Lighting Systems/ACOPS L8 - desirable
  • HV Certificate - desirable
  • Full UK Driving Licence - no more than 3 points
