Shift pattern: 4 On, 4 Off (6‑6 - Days & Nights)

Location: Near Loughborough

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Overview:

Working in modern, purpose built (clean and warm) manufacturing facilities we now require a site‑based Maintenance Engineer to join the team. Both mechanical and electrical engineers considered.

Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer role:
  • Maintain service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.
  • Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns.
  • Perform PPMs.
The ideal candidate / Maintenance Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:
  • Time‑served apprentice‑trained or above.
  • Previous experience working in a maintenance‑focused role within a manufacturing/production environment or similar.
  • An electrical understanding of changing like‑for‑like parts and basic fault‑finding would be beneficial if you do not have electrical certifications (Electrical training can be given – the company provide electrical courses offsite).
Commutable from:

Mountsorrel, Barrow upon Soar, Loughborough, Rothley, Leicester and surrounding areas.
