What You’ll be doing:

As a maintenance engineer you will be required to carry out various planned, reactive and proactive maintenance tasks. The main objective of this role is to support the overall function of the machinery / equipment and building; identifying faults and solutions alike. We are looking for someone who has experience in machine maintenance and repair within a fast paced production environment.

You will be responsible for:

  • Performing maintenance and support tasks on high speed automated equipment
  • Completing tasks that require both mechanical and electrical knowledge
  • Working as part of a team supporting the production and operations
  • Implementing solutions to help improve machine reliability and quality issues
  • Maintaining an adequate supply of spare parts
  • Contribute to the upgrade, service and installation of all new and existing equipment
  • Ensure engineering compliance with company, site and statutory health and safety policies, procedures and regulations.
  • Ensure effective communication with all team members
  • Monitor and maintain the planned maintenance system
  • Maintain the engineering needs of the plant in line with the needs of the business

The skills and experience you’ll bring to our client:

  • An in depth knowledge of Mechanical, pneumatic and electronics.
  • Strong analytical skills supporting fast and effective problem solving.
  • Able to demonstrate a proven ability in trouble shooting and recovering equipment in a dynamic environment
  • Experience in installation and commissioning of new equipment
  • Electrical biased with mechanical experience

You will be working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday on the following pattern: 0600 hrs to 1400 hrs, 1400 hrs to 2200 hrs and 2200 hrs to 0600 hrs.

You will undertake a brief period of training at the company’s HQ in Europe after successful appointment of approx. 1-2 weeks.
