Job summary

A global manufacturer in the food sector is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to ensure equipment reliability in their high-speed production facility. You will conduct planned and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults, and support continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have relevant mechanical or electrical qualifications and experience in food manufacturing environments. This role offers a 3 on 3 off shift pattern (6am-6pm).

Qualifications

  • Experience in food manufacturing or FMCG environments.
  • Strong hands-on fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct planned and reactive maintenance on manufacturing and packaging equipment.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults to reduce downtime and keep production running.
  • Support engineering upgrades, line improvements, and optimisation projects.
  • Work closely with production colleagues to maintain high equipment performance.
  • Ensure maintenance tasks are logged and carried out in line with site quality, safety, and compliance standards.
