Maintenance Engineer

Hours: Days - Monday to Friday

About the Role for the maintenance engineer

We're looking for an experienced and motivated Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established and growing manufacturing site based in Lincoln.

You"ll play a key role in ensuring the continuous operation and reliability of a range of large-scale industrial equipment. The site operates with a strong focus on Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) - currently running at around 90% planned maintenance - providing a structured and proactive working environment.

This is a hands‑on, primarily outdoor role, ideal for someone who enjoys working with heavy industrial machinery and varied maintenance challenges.

Key Responsibilities for the maintenance engineer
  • Carry out both reactive and planned maintenance on a variety of site equipment.
  • Ensure all electrical components, machinery, and safety systems are maintained to a high standard and compliant with regulations.
  • Read, interpret, and work from electrical drawings and schematics to fault‑find and repair effectively.
  • Install, operate, and maintain electrical and pipework systems.
