Qualifications

  • Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship & Qualification or equivalent, e.g., NVQ, City and Guilds, ONC, BTEC or above – Mechanical or Electrical.
  • High level of health and safety awareness.
  • Ability to fault find, repair, and provide solutions to problems.

Responsibilities

  • Providing plant-wide maintenance services and repairs to ensure production targets are met.
  • Monitoring and supporting engineering aspects of machine setup and changeovers.

Job description

The Maintenance Electrician vacancy is with a market-leading Blue Chip Manufacturing firm in the Stanford Le Hope area. The position offers excellent opportunities for training and career development. The site is fully automated and part of a leading FMCG manufacturing company.

Main Duties & Responsibilities of Maintenance Electrician:

  • Providing plant-wide maintenance services, departmental support, and repairs to ensure production targets are met – maintaining factory manufacturing machinery
  • Monitoring and supporting engineering aspects of machine setup and changeovers to ensure product quality and efficient changeovers

Experience and Qualifications Required:

  • Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship & Qualification or equivalent, e.g., NVQ, City and Guilds, ONC, BTEC or above – Mechanical or Electrical
  • High level of health and safety awareness
  • Ability to fault find, repair, and provide solutions to problems
