Machine Maintenance Technician II - Direct-Hire Opportunity!

THE RIGHT STAFF is seeking skilled Machine Maintenance Technicians (Level II) to join our client's team, a well-established Medical Device company in Plymouth, MN, as part of their Maintenance team.

This critical role supports production uptime through general machine maintenance, equipment repairs, and minor facilities work across multiple local sites in a cleanroom and office environment. Candidates should have at least 5+ years of experience in Machine Maintenance, preferably with injection molding, hydraulics, pneumatics, and in a medical device manufacturing setting.

Job Details:
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on injection molding equipment and other machinery
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
  • Minimize downtime by addressing equipment issues promptly
  • Maintain tools and documentation related to maintenance tasks
  • Assist with minor facility maintenance as needed
  • Work in a cleanroom environment (gowning required; some equipment outside the cleanroom)
  • Support 3-4 buildings within a 10-mile radius
  • Participate in on-call rotation for emergency support
  • Follow safety protocols and contribute to a respectful, team-focused culture
Skills and Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or approved GED
  • 5+ years of machine maintenance experience
  • Injection molding or medical device manufacturing experience is highly desirable
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Ability to work in a cleanroom environment (gowning required)
