M365 / Security Consultant – Purview / Copilot / Defender – Italian Speaker

A leading global technology company is looking for a M365 Security & AI Specialist with deep expertise across Purview, Copilot and Defender .

You’ll help enterprise customers secure their environments, govern sensitive data and safely adopt AI within their 365 estate – owning the journey from technical design through to enablement and adoption.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver security, compliance and AI solutions across Purview, Copilot and Defender in complex 365 environments.
• Configure and optimise policies and controls including DLP, sensitivity labels, insider risk, threat protection and access controls.
• Implement and tune connectors and integrations (Graph-style connectors, security / compliance connectors and selected third-party tools).
• Run workshops, training and clinics for security, compliance, IT and business stakeholders – including safe Copilot usage and effective prompting.
• Lead adoption and change activities (champion programmes, comms, best-practice guidance) to maximise value from E3 / E5 security & AI capabilities.
• Act as a trusted advisor on responsible AI, data protection and security‑by‑design in line with regulatory and industry expectations.

Skills & Experience

• Strong, hands‑on experience in at least one of the following, with exposure to the others :
• Purview – Information Protection, DLP, Insider Risk, eDiscovery, Data Lifecycle, compliance tooling.
• Copilot for 365 – readiness, licensing, data access and governance, permissions, safe AI usage.
• Defender – mail, endpoint, identity, cloud apps, XDR.
• Solid understanding of E3 / E5 security, compliance and governance capabilities in 365.
• Proven track record delivering enterprise‑scale security / compliance / AI projects in 365 environments.
• Excellent stakeholder skills – able to communicate with security teams, compliance, IT leadership and business owners .

Desirable

• Experience working with FastTrack‑style programmes, partners or large 365 rollouts.
• Background in AI adoption and change management , ideally in regulated or security‑sensitive environments.
• Familiarity with Power Platform, security portals / XDR consoles, Graph APIs and third‑party integrations.
• Additional European language skills are a bonus.
