M1/M2 Qualified Traffic Management Operative - Plymouth

Our client requires Traffic Management Operatives in the Plymouth area to carry out tasks such as setting up temporary traffic lights, manning road closures and using a stop/go board and other Traffic Management roles.

Responsibilities
  • Set up temporary traffic lights.
  • Manning road closures.
  • Using a stop/go board and other Traffic Management tasks.
Qualifications
  • Lantra M1/2 and ideally an M5 (not essential).
  • CSCS card (Preferred).
  • Good timekeeping skills.
  • Willingness and flexibility to undertake some shifts out of normal working hours.
  • Willingness to carry out other tasks upon request.
  • Driving licence (Preferred).
Desired skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to carry out work to a high standard.
  • Good communication skills.
Working hours

Monday – Friday, days or nights.

Pay
  • £12.50 per hour.
  • Overtime at 150% after 40 hours Monday – Friday, nights and Saturdays.
  • Standby payments for being on call Monday – Thursday or Friday - Sunday.

  • Only Tax and National Insurance deductions and this will be shown on your payslip.
Permanent status

This will start as a temporary role, but will become permanent after 3 months.
