Job Title: M&E Buyer

Location: Kent

Salary: £48K - £52K (DOE)

The Role:
  • Oversee procurement processes, including purchase orders and requisition management.
  • Maintain procurement trackers, call-off schedules, and material journey plans.
  • Obtain material quotations and support value engineering (VE) initiatives.
  • Manage supplier negotiations, securing competitive rates and agreements.
  • Handle technical submissions, sample boards, and project specifications.
  • Oversee stock management, PPE orders, and material reuse across projects.
  • Build strong supplier relationships and ensure smooth material logistics.
  • Office-based role, Monday to Friday.
The Company:
  • 18+ years of experience in residential new build and refurbishment projects.
  • Based in Kent, strong order book for 2025.
  • Specializes in domestic fit-outs and large district heat networks.
  • 30+ direct employees.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Previous experience in procurement or buying within M&E or construction.
  • Strong negotiation skills and supplier relationship management.
