A luxury yacht manufacturer in Wroxham is seeking an experienced Internal Boat Builder to join their skilled team. This full-time position involves working hands-on with premium yacht interiors, ensuring meticulous fitting and finishing of components. Candidates should have a City & Guilds qualification and experience in marine boatbuilding. Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in marine boatbuilding (timber/GRP) preferred.
  • Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings.

Responsibilities

  • Fitting ply bulkheads and cabin sole bearers.
  • Making and installing cabin furniture and doors.
  • Cladding bulkheads with polished veneered panels.
  • Installing sole boards and performing light upholstery work.
  • Epoxy lay-up of sub-assemblies.
  • Levelling boats and fitting other internal components.

Skills

Using hand and power tools safely
Knowledge of construction techniques for marine interiors
Interpreting technical drawings

City & Guilds or equivalent qualification
