Job summary

Fears Watch Company in Bristol is seeking a committed Watch Assembly Technician to join the Operations team. You will assemble our watches, build kits, manage component stock, and help maintain quality control.

The role reports to the Operations Manager and requires meticulous attention to detail, dexterity with small parts, and experience on luxury watches. Hours are 9am–6pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Assembly Watchmaker or Repair Technician working on luxury watches.
• Impeccable attention to detail and high dexterity.
• Willingness to work in Bristol workshop and follow quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Timely and efficient assembly of Fears watches in line with quality standards.
• Compile build-kits of components and record stock transfers.
• Ensure smooth assembly and adhere to the assembly schedule.
• Maintain a clean workshop and properly store tools.
• Perform quality control on components and finished watches, aiming for minimal QC failures.
• Test components including movement timing and water resistance.
• Conduct final regulation to match movement specifications.
• Support aftersales with low return rates and communicate quality concerns to the team.
• Maintain accurate stock records and report stock requirements.
