Job summary

Fears Watch Company Limited in Bristol is seeking a committed Watch Assembly Technician to join the Operations Department. You will assemble watches, build component kits, manage stock, and perform quality control to meet exacting standards essential to luxury timepieces.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the role involves maintaining the workshop, coordinating with the team, and upholding our stringent quality procedures as part of a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Assembly Watchmaker or Repair Technician working on luxury watches is essential.
• Impeccable attention to detail and high level of dexterity for small components.
• WOSTEP/BHI diploma desirable but not essential; strong interest in watches and mechanical work.

Responsibilities

• Timely assembly of watches to Fears quality standards.
• Compile build kits and record stock transfers accurately.
• Maintain workshop cleanliness and proper tool care.
• Quality check components and final watches; minimise QC failures to under 1%.
• Test components, regulate movement, and ensure water resistance specs are met.
• Promote customer satisfaction by keeping aftersales returns low; follow company policies.
• Communicate quality concerns to the Operations Team and monitor spare parts inventory.
